Fancy-Pants: An Introduction to High-Protocol Tea
You are cordially invited to an extra fancy afternoon tea. Please join Nemrak for their vision of a protocol tea without gendered fuckery. There are no restrictions on who can serve and who can be served; top, bottom, sub, switch, dominant - doesn’t matter! We’ll have a selection of tea, light snacks, and delicious mixed drinks(alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to choose from. Additionally, we’ll have a low-key, roundtable discussion about the joys of providing and receiving service.
There is a dress code for this event: Those providing service are asked to wear fancy bottoms* and those receiving service are asked to wear tiny hats/fascinators/some sort of gorgeous head covering. Bonus points if you can work in a coordinated bowtie and/or suspenders.
Rules –
Manners are required. Appreciate the people providing service for the labor they are providing. “Pleases” and “thank-yous” and other pleasantries will go far.
Respect for all attendees is mandatory. Respect gender, pronouns, role at this tea, and the boundaries of others attendees.
This is a power-neutral introductory event and, as such, we will not be requiring the use of titles.
This is not a play event.
* No pants are required, but bottom-covering is. Interpret that as you will.
